A rare Mason’s Ironstone China potpourri vase and covers, decorated in the “Elephants Foot” pattern, having the double impressed line mark. Circa 1813 – 1820.

Mason’s Ironstone China potpourri vases are elegant, decorative pieces produced in the 19th century, known for their distinctive ironstone material and vibrant, hand-painted designs. Often featuring floral motifs or oriental patterns, these vases were designed to hold fragrant potpourri. Their perforated lids allowed the scent to disperse while serving as a striking ornamental item.

Size: 15″ across the handles x 12.3/4″ depth x 9.1/2″ height (38cm x 32.5 cm x 24 cm).
