A Mason’s Ironstone China soup tureen, decorated in the “Indian Grasshopper” pattern, having the Patent Ironstone China Warranted mark to the base. Circa 1813 – 1820.
The tureen features vibrant colours and intricate detailing, typical of the early 19th century. Marked with the Patent Ironstone China Warranted mark on the base, it is a fine example of craftsmanship and a valuable collectable.
Condition: lid professionally restored.
